The purpose of the Sands Point Garden Club is to encourage interest in all phases of home gardening and floral design, and to promote better horticultural practices, civic beauty, and the conservation of our natural resources.

CLUB ACTIVITIES AND PROJECTS:
- Provide educational lectures on gardening, environmental issues and floral design
- Visit members’ gardens and take group tours of public gardens
- Participate in Flower Shows
- Decorate the Sands Point Village Hall at the holiday season
- Plant annual herbs at the Helen Keller National Center Sensory Garden and provide a tasting event for clients
- Support an annual scholarship at Schreiber High School for a gradusting senior who is planning to follow environmental studies or horticulture
